A well-known restoration technique is the
pseudo-inversion of a linearly blurred image by iterative SVD. Under the assumption of a
blur-matrix of Boolean type and a Boolean image we are able to apply the methods of BOOT
algebra to get a parallelized version for the SVD construction of the pseudo-inverse for
image restoration. This results in a speed-up of the related algorithms such that
practical applications of large sized digital images may be envisaged.
